Summary/Abstract: This chapter explores the impact of socio-cultural determinants on business development in a dynamically evolving environment. The background to the analysis is the diversity of communities, traditions and changing norms and values shaped by globalisation, technological developments and social media. The author argues that market success depends on the ability to adapt operations to diverse stakeholders, their preferences, expectations, and socio-cultural contexts. The chapter aims to identify socio-cultural factors influencing business operations and develop strategies enabling companies to adapt effectively to changing social and economic realities. The research methodology includes literature analysis, case studies, and a review of statistical data on diversity, inclusion, migration, and technological transformation. The findings indicate that workplace diversity fosters innovation, efficiency, and a positive organisational image but requires skilful management of conflicts arising from cultural and generational differences. Social media and consumer awareness play pivotal roles in shaping business relationships and marketing strategies, promoting greater transparency and social engagement. Migration, as a global phenomenon, affects local labour markets, offering opportunities through new talent while posing challenges related to integration. The originality of this chapter lies in its holistic approach to analysing the impact of socio-cultural factors on business development, addressing diversity and inclusion, the dynamics of social media, growing societal awareness, and the effects of migration and technology on business activities. The author emphasises the importance of adaptive strategies that not only drive market success but also contribute to positive societal change.
