Summary/Abstract: This chapter provides a comprehensive analysis of Poland’s economic environment through the lens of global indices, including the KOF Globalisation Index, Legatum Prosperity Index, and Index of Economic Freedom. The aim of the study is to identify key factors influencing Poland’s position in the global economic environment and to define actions supporting enterprises in building competitive advantage in the context of globalization processes, economic freedom and market openness. The study explores the multifaceted dynamics of Poland’s integration into globalisation processes, emphasising economic, social, and political dimensions. Over the past two decades, Poland has achieved significant advancements in areas such as trade liberalisation, infrastructure development, and market accessibility, which have contributed to its increasing openness and connectivity on the global stage. The chapter highlights key areas of concern, such as regulatory inefficiencies and the declining financial globalisation index, which pose challenges to sustaining the country’s economic growth. These obstacles underscore the importance of institutional reforms and enhanced policy frameworks to address persistent bottlenecks and foster long-term resilience. The chapter synthesises data from multiple global rankings to deliver an integrated evaluation of Poland’s economic landscape. This multidimensional approach not only allows for a nuanced understanding of the country’s strengths and weaknesses but also identifies areas where targeted interventions can significantly improve outcomes. One of the chapter’s central contributions lies in linking these findings to enterprise activity in Poland. By demonstrating how globalisation trends shape the national business environment, the analysis provides actionable insights into the country’s competitiveness within the European Union. Recommendations focus on aligning economic policies to strength enenterprise activity, improve regulatory efficiency, and support sustainable development. The originality of this research is reflected in its synthesis of global indices, offering a unique perspective on Poland’s economic trajectory and its implications for future growth. This evaluation serves as a foundation for policy-makers and academics seeking to understand and enhance Poland’s role in the international economic arena.
