Summary/Abstract: During the financial crisis, the banks in Bulgaria imposed a relative restriction on the credit resource. High cost of borrowed capital. Before that and in the years when the crisis subsided. Banks stay away from securitization of assets and with too insignificant positions in risky securities. Thus, they do not help the development of the Bulgarian capital market, maintain the capital allocation with a low return and realize a symbolic income for the attracted assets.
