Summary/Abstract: The interest in analyzing the policies of the National Banks of the countries is continuously present, and especially is emphasized in times of crisis. In that regard the aim of this paper is to examine and to compare the banking activities among Bulgarian National Bank, and The National Bank of Republic of North Macedonia during the pandemic with the coronavirus. From the research, in the period of the global crisis with Covid-19, there is a decrease in economic activity, a decline in financial results, progress in terms of policies and strategies related to the implementation of international standards, and no debt relief of the corporate sector. During the global pandemic in both countries analyzed, a temporary measure was adopted banning banks from paying dividends. The recommendation proves to be successful in maintaining the stability of the financial system of both countries in times of crisis.
