Summary/Abstract: Business Process Management (BPM) has become a focal point in both business and academic circles and is seen as an effective instrument for achieving better results. However, current research largely focuses on BPM’s role in establishing performance metrics and optimizing processes, often overlooking its impact on other organizational aspects than the operational. This paper aims to study the factors that impact employee motivation, drawing on data collected through a questionnaire in 2024 containing answers from 213 international respondents across various industries. The results of a factor analysis highlight six factors that influence employee motivation. It is used as a basis for grouping the respondents into three clusters based on their attitude towards BPM. The paper serves as a resource for managers and researchers to further elaborate on the effect of BPM on organization strategy from a people management perspective.
