Summary/Abstract: The article explores the critical role of leadership support and skills in enhancing the effectiveness of project teams working within a hybrid work model, a structure increasingly common in today’s ICT sector. As hybrid models involve team members working from both remote and in-office locations, leaders face unique challenges in maintaining cohesion, motivation, and job satisfaction. In this context, leadership takes on a pivotal role, not only in managing tasks but also in fostering a supportive environment where team members feel valued and engaged. The study highlights the importance of specific leadership behaviors in enhancing team effectiveness. While general leadership capability is valuable, its direct impact may be less significant compared to actionable, behavior-driven support mechanisms. The results indicate that facilitating knowledge sharing and providing targeted assistance in conflict resolution have a clear influence on team outcomes. Meanwhile, leadership support in sustaining motivation showed a meaningful, albeit less pronounced, effect.
