Summary/Abstract: The institutional mechanisms for monitoring and control of anti-corruption policies in the Republic of Bulgaria are a set of structures, legal instruments and approaches aimed at preventing, investigating and sanctioning corrupt practices. These mechanisms aim to ensure transparency, accountability and legality in the public sector, as well as to ensure effective implementation of anti-corruption measures. The aim of this report is to present and analyse the institutional mechanisms for monitoring and control of anti-corruption policies in the Republic of Bulgaria, as well as to provide guidelines and recommendations for their improvement. The anti-corruption system in the Republic of Bulgaria is complex and multifaceted, bringing together a multitude of institutions and mechanisms for monitoring and control. One of the main problems is related to the lack of coordination and integration between the various institutions, as well as the insufficient transparency in their actions. Achieving significant results in the fight against corruption requires strengthening institutional capacity, improving the legal framework and better cooperation between the state and civil society.
