Summary/Abstract: The article is written in the context of the commencing fundamental changes in the economic and political world, in which mankind lives, as a result of the processes of digitalization of the economies and their consequences. The coming changes will bring new directions in the development of economic science and the system of relationships in the real economic environment, will contribute to a complete change or revolutionary reformation of the current global political order by change of the tools of control and authority. The purpose of the article is to reveal a different point of view connecting interpretations of monetarism as one of the most powerful directions in the contemporary economic science and leading economic theory and policy about money and money in circulation with the events happening as a result of the processes of digitalization of the financial world. An attempt for is made to reach a conclusion in what way the process of appearance and utilization of digital currencies of the central banks will affect the economic and social life of people, what consequences, risks and challenges will occur due to the changes resulting form the distribution and use of the new digital currencies of the central banks.
