Summary/Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to track the development of the ICT sector in the Bulgarian economy by examining the structure of the sector, what are the trends in the development of ICT in Bulgaria, as well as to draw conclusions about the role of the ICT sector in the Bulgarian economy, its future potential and the areas in which strategic focus is needed to address the challenges and exploit the potential future benefits.
