Summary/Abstract: This paper provides an overview of TD Bank’s comprehensive risk management framework, which addresses credit, market, liquidity, and operational risks through a structured approach involving both Group Risk Management and business units. By leveraging credit derivatives, such as Credit Default Swaps, TD Bank enhances its ability to manage credit exposure and strengthen its resilience. The bank’s governance structure, which includes a Risk Committee and clearly defined risk policies, plays a key role in setting limits, monitoring exposures, and supporting stable, long-term growth. This study illustrates TD Bank’s commitment to managing risks proactively while supporting sustainable operations across various economic environments.
