Large international companies such as Accenture, IBM, TCS, Wipro and Infosys dominate the market, along with regional suppliers in countries such as India, the Philippines and Poland. Major clients include technology, pharmaceutical and financial companies. The global financial crisis has accelerated the demand for outsourcing as a cost-cutting strategy. Despite the bankruptcies of many small companies, big players like Uber, Airbnb and Netflix have been able to use outsourcing for their growth. The pandemic has caused significant changes, driving accelerated digitization and adoption of cloud technologies, cybersecurity and fintech solutions.
