Summary/Abstract: The real estate business is a driver for the economies of the countries, in Bulgaria over the past 20 years there has been a significant growth in this type of investment, both on the part of businesses and households. Over the years, there have been declines and rises, with the biggest impact left by the crisis of 2008. Now, the world and Bulgaria are in the conditions of recovery from the COVID-19 crisis, but also in an ongoing crisis influenced by the war in Ukraine. The main question the author asks himself is whether the consequences of COVID-19 have had an impact on the real estate market. The purpose of the study is to track key financial indicators of the Real Estate Operations sector for the period 2019-2022 to assess the impact of the crisis on this type of investment.
