Summary/Abstract: This report presents the trends in the development of some European capital markets in thelast five years. For this purpose, main stock market indicators were studied in the period 2019 - September 2024. The trends in the development of the Bulgarian capital market were also analysed and, on this basis, the strategic priorities and challenges were formulated.
