Summary/Abstract: During the pandemic and war in Ukraine, the issue of teaching staff burnout has become very topical. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the level of burnout of teachers and lecturers and to find out how age, work place and seniority are correlating with level of burn out. To achieve the goal, the questionnaire was developed based on MBI-NL-ES burnout inventory (n=185). It was concluded that Latvian teachers are under high burnout syndrome, especially those who are working in primary and secondary schools from 10 to 15 years.
