Summary/Abstract: Albania’s Day of the Flag, celebrating the proclamation of independence in 1912, fell on November 28th, the day before Yugoslavia’s Day of the Republic. On November 27th, 1968, our students in Pristina finally made the headlines in the Year of Revolution with a demonstration that turned into what the international press classified as a riot in which ten policemen and several students were badly injured and one boy killed.
