Summary/Abstract: This article will examine the participation of women in the labor market. For this purpose, it will be clarified what the labor market is according to different authors. Special attention will be paid to what its essence is. It will be clarified when women enter the labor market and what their access to it is. The subject of the article will also be the difficulties faced by women in the labor market. The present article does not claim to be exhaustive and is oriented towards presenting basic knowledge about the labor market.
