Summary/Abstract: This article examines the epistemological problems of criminal-law science and Marx's method, which continues to develop today and is consistent with contemporary criminal law thinking. Addressing Marxist theory will help resolve many pressing and complex questions of criminal law, i.e. the range of protected values; the relation of interests of different social groups, the legitimate repression and its consequences, etc.
