Summary/Abstract: The standardization of sustainable management systems, processes and products can support and strengthen their transformational potential for implementing sustainable development goals. However, scientific research in this area is quite limited. Therefore, our study aims to identify the key sustainable management systems standards (SMSS) and to reveal the leading ISO standards in support of their better development in bulgarian context. The results of SMSS mapping prove their role as a widely used tool for assessing and improving sustainability practices, in the context of organizational management.
