Summary/Abstract: The article outlines the subjective and temporal aspects of the protection of confidential business information (trade secret). As a result of the amendment of the suppression of unfair competition act, the scope of persons entitled to trade secret was extended from entrepreneurs to 'non-entrepreneurs'. The time limits of the protection of the right to trade secret are limited by the state of confidentiality of the information and its economic value.
