Summary/Abstract: ChatGPT, is revolutionizing technology and the power of Artificial Intelligence, every second as you are reading this Abstract. The chatbot is seen as both a threating and reformatory tool to the Human civilization. In this research paper I discuss the impact of this technology on the Service sector of India and the effect on students educational environment. For the first part, Multiple Linear Regression was used with independent variables such as trust in the technology, effect on businesses; in terms of improved customer service, as a substitute to teaching and content creation, use among students and decrease in human employment due to such a technology. The study revealed that 87% variation in demand in the service sector could be explained by the above considered factors. Then to check the impact on student use and dependence on the technology, Factorial design was applied with dependent variables as curiosity to use the technology and trust on the output of ChatGPT. Through the test, the null hypothesis was rejected and we could show factors such as Trust and Curiosity to use the technology affects student’s dependence and excessive use of ChatGPT in their study environment.
