Summary/Abstract: Presented study analyzes the demographic and psychological predictors of subjective perception of safety, which was studied by the fear of crime, behavior and cognition. Demographic predictors represented gender, age, education, country and previous victimization. Psychological - a risk tendency, conservatism and the need of structure. The analysis included 1847 respondents. The results suggest that individual assessment of the safety were affected by gender, partly by psychological characteristics.
