Summary/Abstract: The present report presents the mobile technologies used in the educational process. The importance and increasing role of mobile learning in the educational process in order to attract and retain the attention of the new generation of learners is shown. The upgrade of e-learning through the introduction of mobile technologies and mobile learning is presented. Attention is paid to augmented reality (AR) as a means of modern education and training through the use of mobile technologies. The possibilities and disadvantages of using mobile technologies in the traditional educational process as an informal form of knowledge acquisition have been identified.
