Summary/Abstract: The paradigmatic perspective of the perception of time, considered in terms of the spectrum of relations between time and teachers in the plane of education, enables the identification of several of its varieties: managing education, co-managed time, individually managed time. The observation of everyday school life and the analysis of the literature on the subject provide evidence on educators’ submission to temporal dictatorship and its choice as the dominant time management strategy.
