Summary/Abstract: The author analyzes personal names in several 20th-century translations of the New Testament. The main object of research is the so-called dynamic translation, which she considers against the background of other twentieth-century translations. Several ways of naming people in the New Testament have been analyzed to determine their influence on the stylistic shape of the text.
