Summary/Abstract: Our article deals with the issue of the denominal adjective’s neology in today’s French. First, the question is asked about the current productivity of this category, and the lexicogenic processes in force. Attention is then focused on the semantic values of these neologisms, conveying either various qualifying determinations, or relational determinations. The basis for this research is a corpus of 2459 adjectives, gathered within two neological platforms, "Le Logoscope" and "Néoveille". Their action consists of screening for neologisms in the French press articles during the last few years.
