Summary/Abstract: The individual chapters of the book, which appears here in German translation, were largely published by Lloyd George as newspaper articles towards the end of 1922 and in the first half of 1923. They clearly bear the signs of their creation; In many cases its subject matter is so much history that the lively polemics with which the author treats it may appear outdated. However, the careful reader will find that this is by no means the case. The same problems with which the author is grappling, the correct solution of which he is passionately trying to present to the European public, are still to be decided today and are of particular interest today. This applies above all to the French Ruhr policy and the reparations question. The tendency of the recently published French Yellow Book is refuted here in advance. // German edition published in Leipzig, 1924 by Paul List Verlag
