Summary/Abstract: The review of the literature on homosexual relationships in the psychological perspective, focusing on the emotional ties existing in these relationships. The history and methodology of the research on homosexual families complements the critical analysis of the material collected during the empirical studies on the development of children of gays and lesbians. The work is based on John Bowlby’s attachment theory.
