Summary/Abstract: The US-China rivalry currently represents the key driving force behind the transformation of the global order, with the Indo-Pacific functioning as its central geopolitical space. The monograph "The Game of Greats: Sino-American Relations and Reflections" analyzes the nature and dynamics of this rivalry, the interests and strategies of its main actors, as well as the role of other significant states in the Indo-Pacific. Special attention is paid to the question of whether the growing competition between the US and China leads to long-term strategic rivalry or creates conditions in which confrontation could escalate into armed conflict.
