Summary/Abstract: Ten years after the war, the country, in spite of all the problems, regenerated multiple times. The passions of the war have subsided, freedom of movement in the country is guaranteed, the economy and culture are slowly recovering. Nevertheless, now Bosnia faces the task of becoming truly independent. The country must prepare for integration into European structures. Whether it will succeed depends on whether the balance will be tipped back so that traditional and tolerant Bosnia could be realized again. By normalizing, democratizing and building a common rule of law, the power of nationalists, which relies on authoritarian structures, corruption and propaganda, could be undermined. The scale does not swing by itself. Tolerant community must be won by people themselves and achieved with further help from outside. (Published by BOSANSKA RIJEČ - DAS BOSNISCHE WORT e. K.Wuppertal)
