Summary/Abstract: As consumers, we have indirect or direct impacts on the ecological, economic, and social environment during the purchasing, consuming, and disposing stages of products. The problems caused by excessive and unconscious consumption have led to the emergence of the "ethical consumption" trend. This book focuses on the ethical aspect of consumption and ethical purchasing behavior. The study examines ethical issues specific to clothing and accessory products (employee rights and health, fair trade, ecological environment, animal welfare) and the responsibilities of consumers in the purchasing process. Based on the author's doctoral dissertation, this work discusses the concept of ethics, ethical decision-making process models, and consumer concerns behind ethical purchasing behavior with a holistic approach.
