Summary/Abstract: The monograph focuses on public policies and disability policy as well as institutional solutions supporting students and people with disabilities in the academic community of the University of Warsaw in 1997–2023. The publication might be of interest to the representatives of the ministries of science, education and social policy (including the Office of the Government Plenipotentiary for Persons with Disabilities, the Plenipotentiary for Equal Affairs, and PFRON – The State Fund for Rehabilitation of Disabled People), as well as the non-governmental organizations which work for people with disabilities, including those striving for broader social inclusion of people with disabilities and implementation of the idea of inclusive education.
