Summary/Abstract: The key goal of our research was to measure ethnic distance. In societies of a multinational character, where political identities often overlap with ethnic identities, measuring social distancing based on ethnic criteria can be a significant indicator of the overall state of society, especially the state of the political community. Therefore, ethnic distance provides a deep insight into interpersonal relationships, perceptions, and interactions within society. This concept is reflected in the degree of social distancing among different ethnic groups, expressing the level of distance or closeness among members of those groups.
