Summary/Abstract: The publication is devoted to social segregation and spatial mobility as seen in individual biographies and everyday life of the inhabitants of Warsaw. The author identifies important people at subsequent stages of the narrators' lives, traces significant places and spatial behaviours related to routine, and analyses events, which are related to the changes taking place. The starting point for reflections on social inequalities in cities are mutually interwoven biographies and everyday life. Understanding their dependencies is important for achieving the social cohesion of cities and the role of activities conducted by decision-makers as well as the challenges they face.
