Summary/Abstract: 'The Rhetoric of Genres. Critical Analysis Project' is an original proposal to look at communication genres from the perspective of rhetoric. Agnieszka Budzyńska-Daca combines reflection on the symbolism of language with a critical approach to forms, which organize our actions and ways of thinking. The book, revealing the persuasive and culture-forming potential of genres, shows how they shape public, scientific and media space. The author proposes her own model of rhetorical criticism of genres as well as the analytical tools useful in research on contemporary communication.
