Summary/Abstract: The book is an excellent example of analyzing the relationship between new digital technologies and the material dimensions of human action. In particular, it refers to changes taking place in the field of education, work and lifestyles. The author undertakes a multi-faceted analysis of the social effects of the digitization in areas of public life, as well as the everyday experience of interacting with digital solutions and artificial intelligence algorithms. He places these in the context of analogue mobility, survival strategies and photography. Thanks to this, we gain insight into the various forms of ‘analogue cultures’. To put it simply, they are new forms of community and social relations based on the idea of analogue technology, although using digital reality in a creative way. "
