Summary/Abstract: By the term logos, Heraclitus meant the general and unique rationality of each individual existence. In each subject we find both its particularity and generality. The synthesis of that content be-comes in a conceptual statement a set of recognized signs of some individuality. We only generalize in our opinion what is real and important on an individual subject. Realistically, there is a being itself as its own individuality, and that individuality has its particularity in relation to other beings, and the generality by which it is necessarily a member of one species or genus in a series of a large number of individual contents. The materiality of the world manifests itself only through an infinite number of individual objects (matter), that is, it manifests itself infinitely in the finite. From a cognitive point of view, logos is a common name (category) for the order and rationality of all existence. On this basis, the logos in nature is revealed by the knowledge of natural laws, and the “social logos” is revealed by the knowledge of social laws, i.e. social phenomena.
