Summary/Abstract: The monograph presents responsibilities, competences and the procedure before the Special Highest Court (SHC) and defines the constitutional position of this body in the Constitution of Greece. SHC is a judicial authority with special jurisdiction in the Greek legal system. It is included in the bodies of constitutional protection, and its role goes beyond the function of the constitutional court. In addition to the analysis of normative acts, the monograph presents the theses of the most important judgments issued by the SHC.
