Summary/Abstract: The problem of normativity is certainly one of the oldest, but also most important, philosophical but also ethical problems. Still, it would seem that the problem was only appropriately approached starting in the 1970s, with the attempt to shift the question of normativity from the limited field of psychology into the broader are of so-called “philosophy of normativity.” Given that this is a vibrant philosophical discipline, this volume brings together translations of the most relevant texts within the field.
