Summary/Abstract: I look at illustration as a research, somewhat detective and most importantly, educational task. While I was working on it, this project also brought an important element of improvement to me - through learning. Thus, the didactic nature of this project became two-way. In order to make illustrations as aids for understanding the text, I had to learn by talking to the authors, studying the material, analyzing the topic, or thinking about how to combine the text and image into one cognitive whole.
