Summary/Abstract: In 2017, the socio-economic disparity ratio between Camden & City of London and Dibër has been 73:1. These numbers signify that the ‘average’ inhabitant of the British region enjoys a standard of living, which is, at the very least, 73 times higher than the similar inhabitant of the Albanian region of the same scale. Another angle of this European relationship is that, in 2007, the same ratio has been 90 to 1. The puzzle is in guessing which inhabitant wins and which one – loses. If any! Koulov’s book unassumingly lends you the power of modern-day geospatial technology and leads you to explore the socio-economic ups and downs of the states and regions (yes, even your own!) in contemporary Europe. This work provides you with a standard of living ‘address’ and a Europe-wide pass and lets you decide whether you would like to move and where. It also brings up to our attention places, like the European ‘Deep Periphery’, and makes us think and, possibly, act.
