Summary/Abstract: The official documents, gathered in large numbers in the following pages, and the facts set out therein, with supporting evidence, in chronological order, from 1914 to 1917, will prove to the reader that there was never the slightest trace of truth in the formidable indictment drawn up in the Entente countries, during the war, against neutral Greece. The earth still trembles with the echo of this deafening indictment. But the generations who wish to keep the memory of our time will speak of it with sadness as the greatest forgery in the history of the world. … But however atrocious the memories of the war may be, however violent the evil forces that still torment our old world may be, we must strive to reestablish truth and justice. The honor of our generation is at stake; by spontaneously confessing our faults, we can hope for some indulgence before the tribunal of History. (Author’s introduction)
