Summary/Abstract: The book Living with history is made up of 63 shorter texts by Sime Ćirković, which can be defined as scientific essays, newspaper essays, conversations, interviews. They were created for the most part, although there are earlier and later ones, in the time period 1985-1995, the time from the beginning of the acceleration of the development of the crisis of the integrity of the Yugoslav cultural and political space, its growth and culmination in the form of the disintegration of the joint state, civil war and all kinds of hostilities between peoples and nationalities on the soil of the former state and its post-war extensions.
