Summary/Abstract: ABOUT THE MINDSET OF CZECHS AND SLOVAKS REGARDING RUSSIA BETWEEN 1867 AND 1914: AUTHOR‘S INTRODUCTION: Although this study is prepared as a separate unit, it is nevertheless a continuation of Part I of the book "Russia and Us", published by the same publishing house in 1929 in Prague. I warmly thank all those who have been and will continue to be helpful to me. Sometimes authors have the habit of dedicating a book. If I were to do so, I would first of all bow to my dear father, honor the memory of my late dear mother, and finally dedicate the book to those whose eyes bloom with wildflowers every spring — near Zborov and elsewhere — as well as to those in whose souls the song of a strong and active desire for the fraternity of all honest people sounds. So also to you, dear reader! ...
