Summary/Abstract: So far, very few papers have been published in our country dedicated to the relationship between gender and politics, primarily due to the inadequate treatment of gender studies in our academic environment and due to the fact that there is even a danger that such a subject of research will be interpreted as a political and ideological position or commitment, and not an equally represented topic in the fund of social sciences (Blagojević Hughes, 2015). Thus, my intention to engage in research on women's political involvement gained weight, although in my work I was faced, first of all, with the problem of lack of literature and exchange of ideas through dialogue with other colleagues. I made up for it in continuous cooperation with academic centers abroad, by participating in international projects.
