Summary/Abstract: Social poverty and the problems faced by states in the process of transition represent significant obstacles to the full realization of the human rights of Roma men and women and the implementation of measures to improve their position. The lack of sustainable solutions in the field of education and employment leads to generational poverty that cannot be overcome without the application of adequate measures of affirmative action. On the other hand, discrimination and the absence of broader social solidarity represent an obstacle to the application of affirmative measures. The views of the Roma community and the views of employers, as well as examples of solving Roma problems in other local communities, therefore, represent a key basis for designing complete, economic and effective models of their overall integration.
