Summary/Abstract: An analysis of media coverage of the misuse of firearms in cases of male gender-based violence against women in the Western Balkans (2024) published by SEESAC showed that institutions are important sources of information for the media on this topic and that their statements are often fully reported. Among the institutions, the ministries of interior affairs and police services are the most represented.
