Summary/Abstract: Though negotiations on the Republic of Serbia’s accession to the European Union (EU) officially started in January 2014, not a single negotiation chapter has been opened so far. The earlier announced Chapters 23 and 24 have been accompanied with Chapter 35 (relations between Belgrade and Priština), which is most likely to be opened the first. If the most optimistic forecasts materialise, the opening of the first negotiation chapter between Serbia and the EU should take place by late 2015.
