Summary/Abstract: Artificial intelligence represents a new level of technological and scientific development that will have a huge impact on the way the world as we know it functions. Thanks to great advances in computing power, increasingly sophisticated algorithms, and unprecedented amounts of data, artificial intelligence has also gained great economic value. Thanks to algorithms that make predictions on the basis of a large amount of data, according to some estimates, artificial intelligence brings about two trillion dollars to the global economy today, and it can be expected to be sixteen trillion dollars by 2030 and make up more than ten percent of the gross world product. Artificial intelligence systems are made up of software whose task is to generate output results such as content, predictions, recommendations or decisions for a given set of goals determined by humans, which affect the environment with which the system interacts, either in the physical or digital dimension. They can be designed to work at different levels of autonomy and to be used independently or as an integral part of a product. These software are developed on the basis of machine learning methods or methods based on logic or knowledge or on the basis of statistical approaches, Bayesian estimation, search and optimization methods. Some authors believe that artificial intelligence means new information systems that are capable of learning independently and undertaking various activities, as an intelligent human being does.
