Summary/Abstract: Research Center of the Slovak Foreign Policy Association was established in September 1995 as an integral part of the Slovak Foreign Policy Association. Its main goals are: - To provide high quality, independent and unbiased analyses of key international issues and of foreign policy of the Slovak Republic - To contribute to the improvement of professional discussion on international relations and foreign policy of the Slovak Republic - To undertake cooperative research projects on issues of common concern with counterpart institutions abroad - To offer a conducive environment to the growth of the new generation of Slovak specialists in the area of foreign policy and international relations - To inspire a broader interest among the Slovak population in international events and in better understanding of the importance of foreign policy and its connections with domestic politics.
