Summary/Abstract: By studying the work ethics of Germany and Japan, business behavior, the way of their post-war reconstruction, the beginnings of their industrial development, it can be concluded that there are many similarities. Despite the fact that these countries are quite far apart, and that there are significant cultural and social differences, there are many values that, it can be said, are almost identical in both countries. In this case, we primarily mean the construction of an industrial society, business philosophy and the reduction of social inequalities and differences, i.e. fostering a culture of population well-being. Other similarities can be cited, for example, striving for a high level of education, concern for the health of the population, business acumen and discipline in work and life in general, dedication to work, family and country.
